The money you earn when you sell a product is called your margin. Margin is decided entirely by you. Meaning, you can add whatever amount you want to price shown on GlowRoad app. Margin is the amount of money you would want to earn on the sale of each product. This is decided by you while placing the order or sharing the link. Suppose you are seeing a saree for Rs 500 on GlowRoad – and you sell it for Rs 750, you earn the entire difference i. e 750-500 = 250 Rs. The margin amount (Rs 250) will be transferred to your account after order is delivered.

Reselling is the most rewarding work-from-home opportunity these days. Most resellers make 4000 to 5000 Rs per month by the third month of reselling. That’s quite exciting because you invest nothing, time required is less than one hour per day, and reselling can be done from anywhere. By one year, serious resellers make 40,000-50,000 Rs per month.

If you are new to reselling follow these steps:

  • Install WhatsApp on your phone (if you don’t have it already)
  • Add as many people as you can on WhatsApp
  • Tell people that you have started an online business and will be sharing exciting products from your shop
  • Now start sharing products from GlowRoad app to WhatsApp [Learn more about sharing here]
  • When someone shows interest in buying a product – check for how much you are getting that product on GlowRoad
  • Suppose you are getting it for Rs 400 – quote your price after adding 10-15% margin (Rs 440 to 460 in this case).
  • If customer confirms interest in buying, place the order for the customer . That’s all. [Learn more about placing order here]
  • From here we will manage everything. We will ship the product to your customer, collect cash on delivery, and send you your margin.
  • You can also share and sell on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Business. The more you promote your products by sharing, higher is your chance of sale.

We understand how important it is for resellers to keep their source of supply private. The customer will never find the original source and price. The courier is sent on behalf of you and the price shown on invoice is the final price quoted by you.

Your margins will be deposited to your bank account. There is a bank detail section in the app where you can fill all details.

We make sure that products listed on GlowRoad are good value for money. The suppliers are on boarded by a team of people with deep domain expertise and experience in E commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon. Most suppliers have a proven track record of good quality.

Plus quality is monitored rigorously based on return rates. You will see ratings generated by the system for each product, catalog and for each supplier. In addition, you wills ee ratings and reviews from other resellers.

If your customer wants to return a product, you can easily place a return request on the app. Our courier person will go and pick up the product from your customer and full refund will be issued.

GlowRoad helps resellers develop into a full-fledged online business owner with their own identity and reputation. We provide all resellers an entirely personal store front. No, resellers do not require a GSTIN number.

Whenever a customer places an order on your shared link, we will send you a notification on your GlowRoad dashboard plus an SMS and E Mail on your registered E Mail ID and Phone number.

If you are a reseller (you are just sharing products uploaded by other people): Nothing. Just back and enjoy. We will take care of everything. Your buyer will receive order tracking details on E Mail instantly after making online payment.

If you are a supplier (you have uploaded your own products on GlowRoad): Read This. Important!!

The order confirmation E Mail that is sent to you immediately after placing the order has an orange button called View Tracking Details .Click on it and you will be able to see where your order is. You can also track your order by going to My Shop > My Orders and clicking on it. Your customers also get an order confirmation E-Mail on your behalf and can track the order. The E Mail or Invoice, nothing will ever have GlowRoad's name on it. So you never have to worry about customer knowing original price.

All confirmed order details are always there on your shop to view. Just go to My Shop > My Orders to view order history of all the orders that your buyers have bought from you on the GlowRoad platform. If you are using GlowRoad on mobile, you will be asked to either Download the GlowRoad App or open GlowRoad on a laptop/ desktop to view Order History.

Click on My Shop. Scroll Down. You will see a My purchases tab where all your purchases will be listed.

For all orders placed online on GlowRoad, our services team contacts the supplier on your behalf and makes sure the order is dispatched and delivered. So you need not worry about contacting the supplier at all. We strongly recommend that you use the online payment at GlowRoad. NEVER transfer money directly to the supplier. Margin is the amount of money you want to earn on the sale of each product. E.g. If there is a Kurti listed at a price of Rs.500 on, but you think you can sell it for Rs 900, then while sharing the product just change the price to Rs 900. Your customers will see a price of Rs 900 = Rs.500 (original price) + Rs.400 (your margin). Don't worry, the customer will never get to know the original price. The customer can pay online and buy from your link. After product is delivered, we will transfer Rs 400 to your account.

Adding margins while sharing a single product: You will see a screen where you can edit the product price. Simply click on this and change the price to whatever you want. Then click OK.

Adding margins while sharing a collection: You will see a screen where you will be asked to add margin in percentage. The price of all products in the collection will increase by percentage selected by you. If you want to add a different margin to each product in a collection, share them individually to change prices as described above for Adding margins while sharing a single product.

It is entirely up to you. There is no upper limit. We are the most flexible and reseller friendly system that way. It's not like affiliate marketing where you earn few rupees per sale. Here you can earn hundreds or thousands per sale.

We do not charge any margin. The difference between price paid by buyer and original price on GlowRoad (which we call Your Margin), is fully yours. We just want you to share more and earn more.

Fill in your bank details, by clicking on My Shop Menu -> My Bank Details. Enter the necessary details and Save. Once the details are submitted, your total earnings for the week will be transferred by GlowRoad to your bank account.

  • We will release payments on every Wednesdays.
  • In the case of public holiday falling on Wednesday, we will process the payment on the next working day.

An order starts appearing in My Earnings after your order has been delivered and no return request is placed in the next 7 days. For Details Read How will I get Paid and When?

The order confirmation Email send after placing the order has an orange button called view tracking details. Click on it. You will see an option to cancel the order, if the supplier has not accepted it. Once the supplier accepts the order, you cannot cancel it.

You can also cancel an order by going to My Shop > My Oders.

An order can be returned within 7 days of delivery, for all orders placed on or after 24 December 2018.

You can return an order placed by you by going to My Shop> My Purchases. Click on the order that you want to return. You will see an option to Return Order. Your money will be refunded to you once the product has been received by the supplier.

If someone bought a product from your shop, but then they want to return the order, ask them to check the E Mail entered by them while placing the order. They will see the Return option in the delivery confirmation E Mail (Titled Your order has been delivered) sent by us. Their money will be refunded once the product has been received by the supplier.

An order can be returned within 7 days of delivery, for all orders placed on or after 24 December 2018.

You cannot exchange a product. If you do not like it, return it and place a fresh order for the product you want. To know how to return an order read Return Policy. An order can be returned within 7 days of delivery, for all orders placed on or after 24 December 2018.

Non delivery is rare once an order is accepted. Our team keeps tracking all orders carefully.

Step 1: On clicking share to earn button under a product, you will get two options.

Option2: Share only images and details: Only product image and details get shared with the buyer. Price or Link is not shared. Benefit: Buyer receives a large product image with full details which generates more interest. You can decide the selling price after buyer shows interest. Step 2: While sharing a link you will be asked to Add Your Margin. Click on Edit Price and Change the product price. Then Tap OK and share on Whatsapp or Facebook.

Collections are made by our team of fashion specialists keeping latest trends in mind. Collections sell real fast, which means you make money fast!

Step 1: On clicking share to earn button under a collection, you will get two options.

Option 1: Share Collection Link. Benefit: Buyers will see all collection images, full product details and option to pay online.

Option2: Share only images and details: Only product images and details get shared with the buyer. Price or Link is not shared. Benefit: Buyer receives a large product image with full details which generates more interest. You can decide the selling price after buyer shows interest. You can charge different price to different buyers. You will need to download the GlowRoad app to share only images.

Step 2: While sharing a collection link you will be asked to Add Your Margin in Percentage and then share on Whatsapp or Facebook.

Step 1: Start stocking your shop with product by using the COPY button. You will be asked to add your margin while copying products. You can edit this later. All products that you share get automatically copied to your shop.

Step 2: Give your business a unique identity by putting an interesting shop name, shop logo and few lines that say what is special. To do this go to My Shop > Edit Shop Details

Step 3: Now click the share icons on the shop dashboard, and Welcome the World to your online store. Buyers will be able to see all products in your shop with full product details and a BUY button. They can BUY by paying with credit card, debit card,UPI, wallets or net banking and COD.

Step 4: The product will be shipped by the supplier whose product you shared. You don't have to do anything. Your margin will be sent to your bank account.

Shop sharing is awesome. It gives a personal touch and allows you to share as many products you want in a single link. We suggest sending one shop share every week with a message fresh collections added!

When you start sharing products, all products that you share will automatically be copied to your shop. You can go to your shop, click on my products and see all the shared products in the copied products tab.

There is a magic button called COPY on GlowRoad. It is a way of short listing all products that you like and putting them in your own GlowRoad shop. Go on Clicking COPY on as many products as you like. Let us suppose, you like 4 sarees, COPY all of them, and then click the Long Blue button saying “Click to Copy 4 products to My Shop”. You will be asked to add Your Margin. The price of the products will be increased accordingly when they are copied to your shop. Let us suppose you are Copying 4 Sarees worth Rs 500, 600, 800 and 100. If you Add a Margin of 50% on all these, their prices will become Rs 750, 900, 1200 and 1500.

Wow! Now you see there are sarees of your choice in your shop at your price. If you want you can again change the price of each product individually.

You can give a nice name to your Shop and even upload a Shop logo by going to My Shop > Edit Shop Details.

COPY as many products you want to stock your shop, but don't forget to Share Your Shop on Whatsapp and Facebook

Create my shop

Yes! We believe in helping each other. That's how a new woman entrepreneur grows. So when you upload your products, it can be bought and sold by other ladies on GlowRoad. However, we recommend that you Share your Shop frequently to get maximum customers. If you are a wholesaler/ manufacturer and can supply products at lower than market rates, Read How to get Maximum resellers

Rejected products are those that are removed from GlowRoad listing as they don't follow the product guidelines.

Rejections happen in case of sellers uploading their own products. Sometimes, the product gets rejected by the system in case of any or all of the following:

  1. If the product title is not valid – one word titles or lack of product information on titles
  2. If the product description is not right – if size, fabric, colour etc. is missing
  3. If the product category selected does not match with the product – e.g. tagged as Saree on a Kurti product
  4. If the product picture used is not up to the quality standards, is small / hazy / not visible properly etc.

These guidelines need to be followed to maximize the chances for sale of the product. The information mentioned above, when properly structured, helps the buyer in making a purchase decision.

Every businessman or woman was a beginner one day. Don't worry if you are entirely new to business. You will be happy to know that 70% people who join us are first time resellers. Follow these steps to start building a customer base.

Step 1: Inform family and friends

Tell people that you have started a business and can get them trendy things at lower than market rates. Involve them by asking what types of products they want. Then start sharing product with them.

Step 2: Make a Whatsapp Group

Make a special Whatsapp group for sharing your products and add atleast 12 friends and neighbors in the group. Make one or two people group admin and ask them to make their friends join.

Step 3: Start Sharing

Start sharing collections that you think your friends will be intrested in. Try to share at least thrice a day. Around

Use Facebook: Facebook is an excellent place for selling and also growing your customer base

  1. Join buy and sell groups: Use the groups feature on Facebook. Join groups and start sharing there. Posting on a group is easy. Plus there is no risk of feeling like a spammer. Nearly all our resellers get sales through Facebook groups.
  2. Post products and ask people to join your Whatsapp group. Post a message, “I am making a Whatsapp group for Handbags and Jewellery”. Please join if interested.

Simple sale tips: Use some simple sale methods to get business

  1. Discounts: Put a higher margin and then tell your customer you can give a discount if they are interested.
  2. Offers: Run seasonal promotions like end of season sales, festival sales etc. where you reduce the price of a product if customer is keen on buying.
  3. Limited Stocks: Tell your customers that things can get out of stock if they don't order soon.

Where do you source products from: People may ask where do you get products from. You need not tell your customers about GlowRoad unless you really want to help them start their own business. You can say I have tie ups with manufacturers. People may ask how did you make your own website. You need not tell your customers about GlowRoad unless you really want to help them start their own business. You can say my business partners have provided it to me.

Persist: If you commit to sharing consistently, you will succeed. There is no doubt about it. Reselling is the primary source of income for millions of people around the world. It can become yours too.

Your earliest customers are most likely going to be your friends and neighbors. Pick things that match their choice, budget and requirements. So it is best to choose a category that your WhatsApp and Facebook contacts are most likely to be interested in buying.

Our data shows that the better stocked your shop is, the more likely is it to receive an order. A minimum of 30 products is what we recommend, though you can easily stock your shop with hundreds of products.

If you have uploaded your own products on My Shop, you are considered a supplier for those products. If you have uploaded your own products, it is highly recommended that you to read and understand all the questions below for suppliers.

Congratulations! Whenever your product is sold, we will send you a notification on your GlowRoad dashboard plus an SMS and E Mail on your registered E Mail ID and Phone number. It is necessary that you keep checking your new orders on GlowRoad. If you do not ship the order within 4 days of receiving the order, it will be auto-cancelled and the amount will be refunded to the buyer.

Login to your account and go to My Orders section. You will see an option called My Orders.

Click on it. If you are using GlowRoad on mobile, you will be asked to either Download the GlowRoad App or open GlowRoad on a laptop/ desktop as the order processing is much easier on App or Laptop. In My Orders, You will see a section called New Orders where all your new orders will be shown.

It is necessary that you keep checking your new orders on GlowRoad. If you do not ship the order within 4 days of receiving the order, it will be auto-cancelled and the amount will be refunded to the buyer.

GlowRoad has its own courier partner who will pick up the order from you and deliver it to the buyer. It is mandatory for you to use GlowRoad fulfillment services.

Here is a step-by-step guide as to how you can go about shipping your order:

Step 1: Keep checking new orders on GlowRoad

It is necessary that you keep checking your new orders on GlowRoad. If you do not ship the order within 4 days of receiving the order, it will be auto-cancelled and the amount will be refunded to the buyer.

Step 2: Accept Order

Once you click on any order, you'll be able to see full order details. Check whether you have the product in your inventory and click on ACCEPT ORDER button. In case you do not have the product, click on DECLINE THIS ORDER. On clicking DECLINE THIS ORDER, we'll refund the amount back to the buyer. If you have clicked on ACCEPT ORDER, you'll be taken to a page where you'll have to fill the pick-up address (Address from which the product needs to be picked up)

Step 3: Confirm Address and request shipment

On this page, you need to fill details of the pick-up address and click on I AM READY TO SHIP at the bottom of the page. Pick-up address once filled is saved and there is an option to keep adding new pick-up address if your warehouses are spread across different locations.

Step 4: Print & Insert Labels

Once you confirm shipment, SHIPMENT LABEL will be auto generated. Print 2 copies and insert one copy inside the packaging (along with the product). Stick the other one over the packaging. This label contains all necessary information needed for delivery.

Step 5: Generate Manifest

After you have downloaded labels, there will be an option at the end of the page called GENERATE MANIFEST. Print this document. When the courier person comes to pick up the order, please take a stamp from him and upload the scanned copy on GlowRoad. The manifest is a proof that you have handed over the product to Courier Company for delivery. It is a mandatory requirement and will be helpful to you for settling disputes with the courier company in a worst case scenario.

Yes. It is mandatory for all suppliers to fulfil their orders through GlowRoad courier partner.

This is our stated cancellation policy applicable to suppliers

  • For all GlowRoad fulfilled orders, the supplier gets 48 hours to confirm (or cancel) & process the order. If the order is not processed within 48 hours of receipt it will be auto cancelled No cancellation charges will be liable to supplier but if the cancellations reach to a minimum threshold (at least 3) then we may charge to the Supplier of order cancellation. Also after accepting the order, if the order is not shipped within 48 hours, it will be cancelled due to delay in dispatch. We will not be liable if Suppliers dispatch any order after order cancellation.

This is our stated Return policy applicable to suppliers

  • For all GlowRoad fulfilled orders, you will have to accept the Return product from the Buyer if it was initiated within 7 days of delivery as long as it is unworn, unwashed, without stains, undamaged and with all original tags & packaging intact.
  • If you receive any wrong/damaged product in Return then same needs to be raised within 2 working days from receiving the product. Please make sure the video starts with focus on return invoice over packaging such that order details are clearly visible, followed by unpacking to display the product in full, also all edges of the return parcel should be visible (front/back) in the video. We would not be able to process requests with images shared as proof. Video is compulsory.

  • In case of a return where the supplier is liable, Delivery charge + return charge will be borne by Supplier & the amount will be reconciled & adjusted in the next coming payment cycle.

This is our stated Refund policy applicable to suppliers

  • Order can be cancelled at the time of order confirmation while processing the order.
  • If the order is not confirmed within 48 hours then we will auto-cancel it.
  • Buyer can cancel the order at the time of delivery as well, shipping charge will be liable to the Buyer & not the Supplier.
  • If order is returned by the Buyer then, shipping charge will be liable by the Supplier only if the return reason is Supplier's fault. We will reconcile and adjust this amount in the next coming payment cycle of Supplier.
  • If order is returned & reason is Buyer's fault then we will not charge any shipping charges to the Supplier. This amount will be adjusted from the Buyer.

Sign-Up as Supplier

Your products will get maximum visibility if you are a supplier. This means that they will be shared 10 times more by resellers and sale will be much higher. Use the Become a Supplier or Are you a Supplier option to sign-up as supplier. Once you sign-up as a supplier, our merchandising team will get in touch with you to guide you further.

Existing Users: If you already have a GlowRaod account, go to the Upgrade to premium Supplier option in Menu and follow the next steps.

New Users: If you do not have a GlowRaod account, click the Are you a Supplier option on Homepage and follow the next steps.

Supplier Benefits

  1. Your products will be featured in Collections. Collections are shared and sold 30 times more than products.
  2. Your products will be shown on priority in all product listing pages.
  3. You will get an option to send us thousands of products details in an excel sheet. Our team will upload all products on your behalf.
  4. Your posts will get priority visibility in the community. You will definitely get pinned posts every week.
  5. You will have access to a dedicated catalog manager who will help you with what products to list, pricing, offers etc.

Always! Pay on GlowRoad

Keep your money 100% Safe.

  • Never transfer money directly to a seller.
  • DO NOT give your Phone number, E Mail ID or any other personal contact details to anyone. On getting personal information, many sellers will want you to pay them directly in advance (and not on GlowRoad) which is not safe for you.
  • What to do if you like a product in user posts: Use Message and Comments options on GlowRoad to talk to the seller. Ask the seller to upload the product on their GlowRoad shop (it takes less than a minute) and share their shop or product link with you in Message or Comments on GlowRoad itself.
  • Now you can BUY the product ON GLOWROAD
  • We have many paying options like PayTm, Debit Card, Credit card, Netbanking and COD (Cash On Delivery)
  • Your money is not released to the seller till the time the product is delivered to you. If you like the product, only then the payment is released to the seller.
  • In unfortunate cases like bad quality, damaged product, wrong product, returns, etc. you get guaranteed refund.
  • We normally mask all phone numbers to protect everyone's privacy. But some people will still send you their number by typing it in words or putting spaces in between. If you talk or Whatsapp on this number and buy something by sending money directly to the seller, we cannot guarantee a return or refund if required.

Report Sellers

  • If a seller is insisting for advance payment directly to their account, please report it to us by sharing the seller mobile no. and name on care@glowroad.com . We ban such people from GlowRoad. But the guaranteed way to keep your payment safe is PAY ON GLOWROAD.
