However, not all bamboo seeds require scarification, and it can damage the seeds if done improperly. Soak the Seeds: Some bamboo seeds benefit from a soaking period. Place them in warm water and leave them to soak for 24-48 hours. Planting Medium: Bamboo seeds can be sown in seed trays or pots. Use a well-draining potting mix with good aeration.
