Prepare Containers: Use seed starting trays or small pots with drainage holes. Ensure the containers are clean and have been sterilized to prevent diseases. Prepare the Soil: Fill the trays or pots with a well-draining seed starting mix or a mixture of potting soil and perlite. Lupins prefer slightly acidic to neutral soil. Sow the Seeds: Plant lupin seeds about 1/4 inch deep in the soil. Space them 4-6 inches apart. You can sow multiple seeds in each container and thin them out later if needed.
